    About Me

    Explorer of Mind & Body...

My eternal question has always been, why is that..?  I find myself continuously curious about nature, science, people, culture and the inter-relationships between them.  I strive to understand the ways in which one aspect influences the others from the macro to the micro level.   I believe that people strive to make the best choices for themselves.  As our inner perceptions grow and change from allowing our physical body to settle and feel safe, our choices and options grow too, allowing a fuller range of options for living the life we truly envision for ourselves.

I am a licensed, Certified Massage Therapist in California, specializing in Craniosacral Bodywork and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and Assistant Teacher.  I graduated from UC Berkeley in 1990 with a BS Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Biology.  I wrote an Honor Thesis on a "family" of young Homeless Men living in the Civic Center, San Francisco.   I have trained in Waldorf Education, Rosen Method Bodywork, Nature Awareness and Permaculture, Equine Guided Education,

Visionary Craniosacral Therapy,  Somatic Experiencing and Oncology Massage.   My passion is exploring the way in which individuals weave meaning into their existence from their environment and body.

I would like to say a little something about horses... horses are deeply embodied beings, who live in connection with their herd, and (ideally) in a natural setting where they are free to move, rest, and play.  They are incredibly attuned and sensitive to their environment and to their herd mates.  I have found my personal practice of working with horses to be one of the deepest teachings of internal clarity, sensitivity, boundaries, insight, and intention. This experience translates to all aspects of my life.

I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking with my dogs, riding horses in West Marin, and sharing good food and lively conversation with my friends.

I look forward to meeting you soon.
